Job description:
Production Technicians are responsible for packing finished goods into cases, recording paperwork, change overs and code checks. Responsibilities include, keeping up with the pace of production, packing quality product, labeling boxes, and placing boxes on a conveyor as required.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Pack finished goods into cartons/cases
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Label boxes and verify correct production dates
- Place boxes on the conveyor line as needed
- Operate palletizing equipment
- Perform weight checks, X-ray inspections, and metal detection tests
- Ensure correct packaging materials are used
- Track and document production counts and downtime
- Assemble boxes and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (sanitation/housekeeping)
- Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Assist with additional production tasks as needed
